UKTI Market Visit To Japan organised by Business Link JapanJuly 2010

In July 2010 BLJ ran a trade mission to Japan on behalf of UKTI East Midlands.  Following a successful recruitment campaign 60 companies expressed an interest, and these were shortlisted to 14 successful candidates.

BLJ handled all logistic and planning for the week in Japan including 2 key receptions at the British Embassy, the first was a business networking seminar attended by 56 Japanese companies, and the second was a combined Olympic countdown event hosted at the Ambassador’s Residence with 150+ Japanese guests in attendance.

Feedback during the week was very positive, with some UK companies picking up orders and several finding new distributors and partners in Japan.
