Inaugural International SIG ‘Ehealth markets in three countries: Japan, India and China’

This half day event will examine the opportunities in the ehealth markets in India, Japan and China for UK businesses. All three countries offer different opportunities for ehealth solution providers, but all three share a common factor – ehealth is a rapidly growing market opportunity with strong demands for innovative solutions. The inaugural event of the International SIG will examine the opportunities in the ehealth markets in India, Japan and China for UK businesses. All three countries offer different opportunities for ehealth solution providers, but all three share a common factor – ehealth is a rapidly growing market opportunity with strong demands for innovative solutions.

This SIG will endeavour to provide lively debate, inside information and opportunities to network to allow delegates to gain an invaluable insight into the some of the world’s leading economies. Japan for example is the second largest economy in the world and the second largest healthcare market in the world. This series will offer attendees a route into discovering the opportunities available armed with the essential knowledge tools and aided by our experienced SIG champions and market specialists, to make this prospect a reality. Presentations will be heard from;

  • Tim Ellis, Department of Health will present “The role of Telehealth and Telecare in managing long term conditions“
  • Chris Muir, Director of Sales, Sarantel will focus on “Doing Business in Japan“
  • Jeremy Hill, formerly First Secretary Trade and Investment, British Embassy Tokyo at Foreign and Commonwealth Office will examine “The Japanese Healthcare Market“
  • Simon Sherrington, Founder, Innovation Observatory will present “mHealth and telehealth opprtunities in China“
