2014 Feb – UKTI Smart Grid Technology Mission to Japan

Business Link Japan are excited to announce that they have once again been appointed to run the Smart Grid Technology Trade Mission on behalf of UK Trade and Investment.

The third time this event has taken place, this year’s trade visit starts in Osaka with a series of seminars; providing British companies with an exclusive opportunity to present to and access an influential audience of major Japanese businesses. Panasonic, Sharp, Sumitomo, Murata, Horiba, Kyocera and other leading companies all have HQ locations in this region of Western Japan.

Following this time in Osaka, participants will then travel to Tokyo where they will exhibit at the International Smart Grid Expo: a 3 day event at Big Sight – the world’s leading exhibition and conference for Smart Grid technology. Each delegate will be given an individual booth within UKTI Japan’s section at the event, presenting a unique chance to present to and engage with hundreds of relevant sector specific businesses. Companies such as IBM, Honda, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Panasonic and the Tokyo Institute of Technology have all previously exhibited at the Expo.
